TEHRAN- The death toll caused by air pollution in Tehran has increased from 150 to 180 people per day, Mehdi Chamran, Tehran City Council chairman, said on Tuesday.

Chamran said that the shutdown of the schools and sand-producing factories to reduce air pollution are temporary solutions, not useful in long-run.
According to IRNA, Tehran’s air quality has been on a dangerous state for high-risk people over the last three days.
The report adds that Tehran’s air was dangerous for all citizens one day last week.
